Medela calma where to buy

Helpful Not helpful Report review. Terrible, wastes valuable breastmilk 1 out of 5 stars. Kris - 8 months ago. This is the only bottle out of 4 or 5 that hasn't worked for our 2 week old.

With or without an adequate breast milk supply this is extremely upsetting for mama and baby. Guinylove - 1 year ago. It allowed an abundant amount of air into the nipple and caused my son to spit up almost the entire bottle.

Baby's suction was too strong 2 out of 5 stars. I like the idea of this bottle because my baby had developed a bottle preference and I was desperately trying to get him back to the breast. I thought that this would come closer to the breastfeeding experience for him and be a slower flow. But actually his suction is so strong that he took in an ounce in no time!

At least in his case, the flow was no slower than other bottles we were using with paced feeding. So it didn't work as I had hoped for us. Otherwise it is a fine bottle.

Good but nipples split too easily 3 out of 5 stars. Crunchymumkim - 1 year ago. We are on our fourth teat for a baby that was predominantly breastfed as the nipples keep wearing and splitting. So considering we'd be considered low traffic users that's pretty terrible quality. Especially as they're so expensive too replace. Feeding is good which is why we continued to use it, especially when bub was younger, but I'm hesitant to purchase again after this experience. They should make replacement of the nipple only a lot cheaper.

Calma nipple leaks 1 out of 5 stars. Julz - 2 years ago. The idea is great but somehow it is leaking. As far as I know I put it on correctly. It is creating a mess for me wherever I feed my baby Also, if he releases suction and pulls away it drips a huge amount down his neck from what was left in the nipple.

It also is not easy to assemble esp if your baby is in your arms. Great bottle, great flow and great nipple 5 out of 5 stars. Fede - 2 years ago. I use this bottle all the time the first 6 months, it helped me a lot the baby has to sucks in order to have the milk so recreate the mimic from breastfeeding he was definitely not confused with the nipple and not that desperate bc the flow was not fast enough.

It is also great for the transition. Lacemama19 - 2 years ago. She is still getting the hang of it but so far this Medela slow flow nipple works the best! Load 8 more.
